Healthy Beginnings for Mothers and Babies: Community Service Associates Make It Possible Community Service Associate - WIC Program At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, participants in the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program enter an inspiring world of holistic care. From nutrition education to breastfeeding counseling, we bring passion and creativity to shaping the health of new families. In this role, you will assist the WIC Director and Nutritionists in the delivery of WIC Program Services through community outreach, participant recruitment, enrollment, and retention. Engage with our community by identifying potential participants in local healthcare provider clinics, schools, daycares or other community centers. Utilize your Chinese language skills to schedule appointments, verify eligibility, and provide a positive and helpful experience for participants.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday days, including the second Saturday of each month on rotation. Preferred Criteria • College Background • Previous WIC experience Required Criteria • Experience in community service and outreach • Bilingual Chinese • Basic keyboard and computer application skills, and able to communicate effectively • High School Diploma or GED Join a hospital where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
