Visual Studio Pdb File Missing

Pdb File.net

Hello, we did a simple web project on a local machine (Windows 2003 SP1) with Visual Studio 2005. Local debugging of the website works fine with the built-in webserver from Visual Studio 2005. Now we are evaluating remote debugging. The setup of the remote server works fine (Remote Debug Service, administrative rights on that machine, same domain, and so on.) When we want to copy the local deployed web project to the remote machine, we noticed, that the local pdb files are missing. Debugging is enabled in the web.config file.

We tried to find the option in VS - but no luck. Any help is really welcome, Regards, Thomas.

They are generated by default for projects that are compiled by using Visual Studio. Generating PDB files for release. And/or missing, no symbols. I noticed on the modules list that I have 1 dll that is missing pdb file. Its name is System.Drawing.dll. Cff Explorer Vii. Inside of visual studio.

The exact error message states: The breakpoint will not currently be hit. No symbols have been loaded for this document.
