Announced and available today is a brand new patch for the launch title which boasts a bunch of fixes, as well as some interesting additions. In addition to the expected 'numerous bug fixes' and 'weapon balance changes and new round balancing options,' Resistance will be getting the increasingly common rumble support, password-protected games, and the ability to take screenshots in game using a USB keyboard. While a patch is certainly good news, the last of that list of additions is perhaps the most interesting.
One would assume that the necessity of a USB keyboard would mean that you'll be pressing 'Print Screen' to take a screenshot, which would then save directly to the PS3's hard drive in a hopefully common format. What makes this interesting? The ability to take screen captures and videos is something a lot of people are quite vocally enamored with thanks to; forum threads are filled with pictures and the stories behind them.
