Is anyone having any luck using this video card in a Dell Latitude D600? I can use the 'Standard VGA' driver that is installed by default, but when I try to play a DVD it stutters. When I let Device Manager search, it finds a Radeon Mobility 9000 driver, however the system freezes when I: a) Play a DVD b) Install Live Essentials c) Run the Windows 7 test This is also the case if I use any driver for that card in specific, whether it be from the Dell website, Omega Drivers, Driver Haven.None of them will work.

Thoughts, suggestions, advice.all appreciated:). Hey I have had this exact same problem, exact same system. Pokemon Schwarz Rom Deutsch Kostenlos Android Games.

It freezes up whenever the video card is used, such as playing games, using Movie Maker Beta, Watching movies, and running the Experience Index, like you said. I talked to Dell and they said the driver is not stable.

Pygame Tile Tutorial. This sounds like a decent and proper excuse to me, but my question is, who and when are they going to fix it? I'm really bummed, I want to be able to use 7 to the best extent. But even if it doesn't work, I'm sticking with 7, never going back. Yeah.it's too bad. The Standard VGA driver 'works', but I can't watch a movie w/o stuttering (minimal, but noticabe enuff that you wouldn't be able to watch it). I really do like the feel of 7 so far, and if I weren't having the vid card issues would be completely satisified running this beta until official release.

I haven't given up the search for a 'fix/hack', but I'm starting to doubt it's out there. Yeah, exactly. Its really, really sad, honestly. Windows 7 on this older laptop runs really well. Fast, responsive, etc. This is the type of thing that will drive me to put Ubuntu on it and ditch Windows 7 on all but the most recent hardware. Dell's motivation here is to sell new laptops not support one's it has sold more than X amount of time ago.
